The non-traumatic movements designed by Gilad provide a natural technique to relieve pain in the upper part of the body, the neck, shoulders and upper back, and is an effective de-stressing technique. Both individual movements and movements in pairs are demonstrated.
The idea behind the workshop is to teach healthcare teams and councillors how to teach patients to help themselves release daily stresses and are intended for patient’s to do with their family members as a continued form of therapy for achieving deeper understanding through touch.
Some of the movements use simple props such as chairs, small exercise balls and foam noodles.
